Reflection
Second to the ceremonial argument, this paper one of my favorites to write. I addressed the cause and effect between the decontextualization of the First Amendment and religion in schools. This has been an issue I feel strongly about for some time, so I was not lacking in content. I had issues constraining my thoughts and creating cohesive paragraphs with the information I was writing. There are many sides to this issue, so I had to narrow it down and examine the most important and prominent ones. The structure of this argument was very simple to follow. It is very black and white on how it lays out. I first gave background information to explain the cause. In my case, it went far back. I then worked my way up to the present and gave relevance to the argument. I connected it with current events to explain why the cause is important. The background is very important in setting up a causal paper. I feel that this paper was a little more scattered than the others. Having strong feelings for this topic made it hard to think rationally and logically. Editing helped me see my errors and how to improve.
